{"id":250112,"date":"2025-11-07T12:00:10","date_gmt":"2025-11-07T10:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/heliev.gr\/?post_type=events&#038;p=250112"},"modified":"2025-12-22T10:43:38","modified_gmt":"2025-12-22T08:43:38","slug":"2nd-heliev-hedno-workshop-with-charging-infrastructure-operators","status":"publish","type":"events","link":"https:\/\/heliev.gr\/en\/events\/2nd-heliev-hedno-workshop-with-charging-infrastructure-operators\/","title":{"rendered":"2nd HELIEV \u2013 HEDNO Workshop with Charging Infrastructure Operators"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"western\" lang=\"el-GR\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">HELIEV organized the 2nd thematic workshop on 7 November 2025, with the participation of HEDNO (Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator), the main Charging Infrastructure Operators of the Greek market, and representatives of the academic and research community. The workshop was a follow-up to the first meeting held in May and aimed to deepen the dialogue on the actual needs and obstacles related to the development of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure at the national level.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"el-GR\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">During the workshop, in-depth discussions focused on:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"el-GR\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">connection and permitting procedures for new charging points, as well as the need for greater transparency regarding available capacity of the electricity distribution network,<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"el-GR\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">operational coordination between HEDNO, Charging Infrastructure Operators, and Local Authorities (Municipalities) for the implementation of Electric Vehicle Charging Plans, <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"el-GR\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">the need for minimum service quality specifications (24\/7 user support, maintenance, and SLA per charger category),<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"el-GR\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">as well as financial instruments and public awareness initiatives in accelerating the uptake of electromobility.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"el-GR\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\"><img alt=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-250109 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/heliev.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/workshop-3-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/>As a key outcome of the workshop, participants agreed on the codification of specific policy recommendations and technical regulatory measures, to be submitted to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and other competent authorities (HEDNO, Local Authorities, etc.).
